Jess and Mark are the Pawleo team and you are most likely to find us bunkering down in our Brunswick kitchen cooking, mincing and mixing. Together we source our ingredients from Victorian producers and make all the food ourselves each week.

Pawleo started in 2015 when Jess was trying to find a solution to her dog’s skin problems. Archie the Airedale suffered from severe dermatitis, which no medical or commercial diet could seem to adequately address. So Jess decided to investigate some other options. Through a lot of research (and tasty treats for Archie) it seemed that a raw and varied diet was the answer. Since that time both of her dogs have been on a raw meat and vegetable diet and have never been healthier.
Mark met Jess through sheer chance and good fortune. Mark was starting a company called DoggyBox at the time and came across Pawleo while scouring the South Melbourne Market for donuts and iced coffee.
After meeting a few times and finding that their personalities and goals complimented each other very well (and perhaps more importantly, their love for real butter), Mark and Jess decided to join forces.
Since then Jess and Mark have been helping dogs and their people address skin problems, IBS, cancer recovery and all round health.We love the relationships between people and their dogs and are proud to be able to offer a small and positive contribution to that happiness.
